Growing up, I was a restless little kid always tinkering with either this kitchen gizmo or that bathroom gadget. I guess I have a bit of a craftsman’s soul within me, even at a young age.
Needless to say, my parents constantly reprimanded me for breaking stuff around the house. Luckily, I had a forgiving dad who taught me to fix and repair all the things that I broke.
My father taught me everything there is to know about home improvement. Every evening, we would spend our time at our workshop in the garage. Playing with kitchen pipes, bathroom drains, electric wires & electronic batteries… Those items became so familiar that they were almost like toys to me.
After years of learning from the best, was it any wonder that I developed such a passion for home engineering? One of my proudest achievements in life is the fact that I built my own house from scratch. Every last detail of every single room was meticulously planned, crafted, and manually built by me. It took a lot of sweat and tears to build the damn thing, but there was a great sense of accomplishment living inside a dream house that I envisioned in my head.
